Child Development Services (CDS)
Child Development Services (CDS) is a multidisciplinary, tertiary level service for children from birth to 18 years of age that present with multiple and complex developmental, behavioural and learning challenges. The overarching goal of CDS is to provide assessment, diagnostic clarity, and recommendations for follow up. CDS does not assume primary care or provide ongoing treatment. They work closely with children and families, community resources, educational supports and other AHS services to help children reach their full potential.
We are a part of the Alberta Children’s Hospital and are located across the street in the Child Development Centre.
